Terms of Service

The basis on which RSH Bury Ltd provides education and learning planning services.

1. Scope of services

RSH Bury Ltd provides independent education and learning planning services. These consist of research, comparison, written briefs and study plans. We do not deliver teaching or training, we do not assess learners, and we do not act as agent for any school, college, university or training provider.

2. We are not an education institution

We are not a school, college, university or other education provider, and nothing we supply constitutes enrolment, tuition or the award of any qualification. Any course, place or qualification is provided by a third party under that party’s own terms, and any contract for it is between you and them.

3. No guarantee of outcomes

We do not guarantee examination results, grades, passes, places, admission or any other learning outcome, and we make no representation that a learner’s marks will improve by any particular amount. Plans and comparisons are provided to inform your decisions. What a learner achieves depends on many factors outside our control, including their own effort and the decisions of third parties.

4. Our obligations

We will carry out the agreed work with reasonable care and skill, base our research on current published information where available, tell you when information cannot be verified, and keep you informed of progress. Where we rely on information you provide, we are entitled to assume it is accurate.

5. Your obligations

You agree to provide accurate and complete information, to tell us promptly if circumstances change, and to obtain any consent required. Where a learner is under 18, you confirm that you are the parent or guardian, or that you are acting with their authority.

6. Fees and payment

Fees are fixed for each stage and agreed in writing before that stage begins. Current stages range from £45 to £195. There is no commission and no percentage charge of any kind. Additional research rounds and extended guidance are quoted separately and agreed in advance. Invoices are payable within fourteen days of issue.

7. Cancellation, refunds and pausing

You may cancel or pause at any point. You are charged only for stages already begun. Where a stage has been paid for but not started, it is refunded in full. Where a stage is partly complete, we will agree a fair proportion before any further work stops.

8. Personal information and guardian consent

Where a learner is under 18, information is provided by a parent or guardian and used with their consent, and correspondence is addressed to that adult. We do not request personal details from a child directly and we do not share a learner’s information with a provider without the guardian’s agreement. Our Privacy Policy forms part of these terms.

9. Limitation of liability

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our total liability in connection with any engagement is limited to the fees paid for the stage of work giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from decisions taken by you or by any third party.

10. Intellectual property

Reports, briefs and plans we prepare are supplied for your own use. You may share them with your household and with advisers acting for you. They are not to be resold or republished commercially.

11. Complaints

If something has gone wrong, contact us first at info@rsh-bury.services. We will acknowledge your complaint within five working days and respond in full within twenty working days.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
