About RSH Bury Ltd
An independent education and learning planning service for individuals and families — not a school, not a college, and not a course provider.
Built for the planning side of education
RSH Bury Ltd was set up to do one job properly: take a learner’s aims seriously and put in the research hours that most families simply do not have. Education decisions are expensive, slow to reverse and made with information that is scattered across prospectuses, websites, open evenings and word of mouth.
We work only for the person making the decision. We do not run courses, we do not hold places, and we take no payment from any college, university or training provider. That means the only thing we owe you is an accurate picture — including the parts of a route that you may not want to hear once you have set your heart on it.
Our role is research, comparison and planning. We do not teach, we do not assess, and we do not represent any institution. What we provide is the groundwork so that the decisions you make are informed ones.
- Independent of every course provider and institution
- Fixed fees, agreed in writing, with no commission
- Reasoning written down, not just a list of options
- A clear finish to every piece of work

Four differences that matter
We are not selling education
Nothing we produce is influenced by who delivers a course. We have no places to fill and no provider to please.
- No arrangements with course providers
- No introducer or referral payments
- No commission on course fees
- No preference for options that cost more
We are paid for work, not for an outcome
Fees are fixed and agreed before we start. If the research shows few good options, you still receive the research and the reasoning.
- Fixed fee for each stage of work
- Quoted in writing in advance
- No success fee of any kind
- No charge if you decide not to continue
We write down the trade-offs
A comparison that only lists advantages is not a comparison. Each option carries its drawbacks alongside its benefits.
- Drawbacks stated as plainly as benefits
- Open questions flagged for you to check
- Nothing described in language you cannot verify
- Sources recorded so you can check them
We keep the decision with you
You will never be told what to do. We set out the options and the reasoning, and you choose what matters most.
- No single route pushed on you
- No pressure on timings or deadlines
- No contact with providers without your agreement
- You can pause or stop at any stage
Plain limits, stated up front

- We do not teach, tutor, assess or mark any learner’s work
- We do not hold places on courses or make applications on your behalf
- We do not guarantee results, grades, passes or admission
- We do not claim registrations, accreditations or memberships we do not hold
- We do not provide legal, immigration, financial or benefits advice
- We do not pass your details to third parties for marketing
If a question falls outside our remit, we will say so and point you towards the type of adviser who can help.
Five commitments we hold to
Plain language
Written so that a learner and a parent can both follow it without a glossary.
Evidence, not opinion
Comparisons rest on published entry requirements, costs and structures.
The learner first
Goals and preferences are gathered before any option is suggested.
Data handled carefully
Information about an under-18 learner comes from a parent or guardian and is used with consent.
